Halfway Home
So I've been in a bit of a rut lately. I think it all started when my dream of winning this year's main event was shattered when I went bust less than two hours into the only megasatellite I played. And so life goes on. Life as in... grocery shopping and getting ripped off at FedEx. How on earth can it cost $38 to send seven pieces of paper to Vancouver?!? Seriously!! Ah well... the good news is that I have somewhere to live in BC. So that helped me get out of my rut. What else helped me? I finally took a look at the pics from my time in the Amazon and posted them on facebook. Ahhh... such good memories. It's hard to believe my time in LV is half over. Or half begun I guess depending on how you look at the glass? I'm still 0 for on the tournament scene, which has been really frustrating. And so I'm having trouble with game selection... which casino to play at, what stakes, what games, etc. If things pan out the way they did last year, the games will get a lot softer as the WSOP winds down. Fingers crossed. On a completely unrelated note, did anyone see the Federer/Nadal final on Sunday? My opinion may be a bit biased, but that had to be the single most amazing sporting event I've ever witnessed in my entire life. Unbelievable. I'm not happy that the Fed's streak is over, but definitely looking forward to watching him redeem himself.
