What happens in Vegas... gets immediately posted to my blog
Well maybe not immediately. It's been awhile since my last post. I've been pretty busy lately playing poker, going to jail, and playing some more poker. Yeah, you heard me right. I have been playing a lot of poker! Oh yeah, and I spent a couple of days doing some time. What trip to Vegas wouldn't be complete without a quick stint in jail anyright right? (Quick note: Jail is not the same thing as prison, as my crack-dealing, wife-beating cellmates explained to me.) So why was I there? I wish I could say it was something cool like jaywalking (which you do get arrested for here, but only if you're homeless or an otherwise burden to society) but I'm ashamed to say that I was charged with DUI. I've always been adamantly critical of drinking and driving so needless to say, I'm extremely disappionted in myself. And that's all I'm going to say about it here. Of course, next time you see me, I'll be happy to tell you about all the ridiculous s**t that happened. All in all, it was definitely an eye-opening experience. I really didn't know anything about the justice system before Sunday but now having lived it first hand, I see how f***d up it is, in Vegas anyway. (Excuse my profanity. It'll take a few days for the jail talk to ware off.) On a more uplifting note, Canadian tennis player Frank Dancevic pulled off a huge upset over a big seed at Wimbledon yesterday AND Italy is out of Euro Cup! Anyway I gotta run find me some motherf***in legal help. Peace y'all.
