My clash with Yukon Brad Booth

So I was back at the tables last night. I decided to play $1-$3 No-Limit Hold'em at The Wynn because they have this sweet promotion happening right now where if you log 50 hours of play by June 30th you are entered to play in a freeroll that gives away ten $10k seats to the main event. So when I went to went to get some chips I almost bumped into someone I was sure I recognized from tv - Brad Booth. He's a professional poker player, originally from the Yukon actually, and he's been featured on a lot of poker television like the WPT, Poker After Dark, and High Stakes Poker. You can check him out in action schooling Phil Ivey in a youtube video seen by over 400,000 people here: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=bN8_gO1_Njg. The only thing that threw me off into thinking it might not be him was that he was playing a medium limit mixed game. Anyway I sat down and went broke on my second hand. This donkey called my bet on the flop with a 2-outer and hit it but it made me realize something. I finally fully understood the importance of having a deep stack in a cash game because I knew that if I had had more money on the table I wouldn't have gone broke that hand. So at least I learned something from it. But I'm getting sidetracked. Fast forward ten hours later and Brad is still there. In fact, he is drunk and being really funny and comes to sit down at our cash game, which is the lowest no-limit game running at the time. He sits down with like thousands of dollars, compared to my measly $300 and change and he starts acting all crazy, like pre-flop raising to ridiculous amounts. So obviously my mouth is watering because all I have to do is wait to pick up a superior hand and take advantage. Sure enough, less than twenty minutes after he got to our table, he makes a proposition to the guy to the my left. Brad is sitting in seat 3 and I'm in seat 8. He said he'll blind raise to $300 and the guy can have the option of looking at his cards and deciding whether or not to call. So two guys limp in into the pot (???) and then as promised, Brad raises to $300. I wait until action comes around to me and look down to find QQ. So of course I'm thinking it is very likely I have the best hand and I push all my money in. It folds around to Brad and he asks to make a deal with me that the winner gives the loser back $100 from the pot. I really shouldn't have agreed to it because I know I have the best hand, but I'm appreciative of having a really good opportunity at winning a big pot because of Brad's crazy gambling ways. Plus I'm a nice guy... sometimes. And he's a fellow canuck. So I agree to the deal and of course his A10 sucks out on me. And that's my story of how Brad Booth gave me a bad beat in a $600+ pot. He stayed for a little while longer and I left shorty after too. Okay so it looks I'm gonna play in either the WSOP $1.5k event on Saturday or Monday... Wish me luck!
