Well hello there. Let me begin by asking anyone who ever hears me consider driving across the continent in a day and a half - with my brother no less - to shoot me. Actually it wasn't that bad. Not as bad as I thought it would be at least. The highlight? Definitely traveling through the Rockies in Colorado. Specifically the runaway truck ramps. These are ramps that go off the road and up the side of the mountain. They're literally designated for transports that lose control going down the steep declines and can't stop. Fortunately we didn't get in the way of any of those. So... Las Vegas. It's crazy how much it changed in a year. Contruction everywhere! As for the apartment... it is sweet! Pics and vids to come. Jim, the owner of the house, is a nice old man who has been a singer on the strip for 43 years. There is a sick pool in the backyard which is right next to the eigth tee of the Las Vegas National golf course. As for the reason I'm here, the poker, I haven't had great results in the first couple of days but I'm really happy with the way I'm playing. I think all the online poker I've logged in the past year has turned me into a loose-aggro internet kid haha. Well not quite but my style's a lot different from last year. Three-betting with nothing was definitely not in my repertoire then. We still haven't made it over to the Rio yet but that should be happening tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'm gonna play the 1.5k NL Hold'em event this weekend anymore. I may wait until closer to the end of the series to play something. So I thought I would finally get around to posting some pictures from last year since that is my average turnaround time to uploads pics.

So we were playing at Harrah's last night and the dealer is all like "You look like Chad Kroeger" and I was like "Waaa?" and another guy at the table was like "I thought the same thing". I don't know... This seems like a step down from Heath but at least I'm alive. Judge for yourselves...

All I need to do now is learn some cheesy rock songs and I am set to be Vegas' next Chad Kroeger impersonator.
